GABRIEL HARPELLE
Gabriel Harpelle has been working in film since he was 13 years old. Now a University
Graduate, he has directed two short films, Allo Allo, and Voyeur, and has worked
on dozens of films doing boom and sound recording such as Seeking Bimaadiziiwin,
Sharing Tebwewin, Le Printemps des Voyageurs, and the Hoito Project. His main
focus has been on film editing and he has worked as assistant editor on the Citoyen
du Monde series. He also edited 52 short online clips for the International Development
Research Centre, and is currently editing "What I learned in Prison" a
film about Robert King a Black Panther who spent 29 years in Solitary confinement
for a crime he did not commit. Additionally he worked as 2nd Assistant Director
on Big Finn Hall. He is currently working on a documentary on the correlation
between radical politics and punk rock. |
