2007 People's Choice Awards

Although this is a non-competitive film festival, "People's Choice Awards" are given to ten films judged to be the best by festival audiences, and these films, along with other top choices, will form the core of the Travelling Bay Street Film Festival, which tours Northwestern Ontario for several months following the event.

The people have spoken, ballots have been filled out, votes have been cast - and these are the results:

5 - Toivola - The Land of Hope – Erkki Maattanen (Finland)

6 - Jamesie, King of Scratch – Andrea Leland (Virgin Islands USA)

9 - Corrientes Circulares – Mikel Alvarino (Spain)

Congratulations to all the winners, and to all who participated in another successful festival with high-quality productions.
With 3 local productions in the top 10, Thunder Bay seems to be quickly growing into a true production centre for Ontario's Northwest.
