In
addition to being known to local film lovers, this
year’s festival is sure to be a success
as we have the support again of the Ontario Arts
Council. This grant will allow us to
pay screening fees to all the filmmakers, but we
still need your help. Your support will help
us to conduct workshops, bring in directors and
producers, cover general costs and, most importantly,
make a contribution to local charities. We charge
an admittance fee and sell festival passes with
most of the profits going to the Finnish Heritage

Donation of Prizes
The Bay Street Film
Festival is also looking for donations of merchandise, artwork
and gift certificates that can be used as prizes for our
People’s
Choice Awards and Videoke Awards. These donations must have
a retail value of $25 or more. Donors will be listed in the
festival program and will receive a 15% reduction for advertisements
in the program.
